Oraltronics relocates to new premises

The Bremen implant manufacturer Oraltronics Dental Implant Technology GmbH has relocated and can be reached at the new address effective immediately:

            Julius-Bamberger-Str. 8a, 28279 Bremen.

Managing Director Gerald Hellmers: “With this move, the interoffice communication has become more efficient, and the operations of our company are practically concentrated under one roof. This enables us to operate more rationally and service oriented.”

In the past, the company had been operating from two different sites in Bremen, at Herrlichkeit and at Osterdeich.

The contemporary building within an aspiring industrial park was modernized and redesigned according to corporate specific parameters in an optimal way. The air-conditioned rooms with the large windows offer an open view to the near-by park. The building contains offices, a comprehensive storage capacity, a clean-room and laboratory, as well as conference and training areas.

“Now we can conduct implant seminars on premises, but also hands-on training for a large number of participants” explains Co-Managing Director Dr. Gregg Cox. Meetings with international representatives and consultants are scheduled to take place several times a year.

The new location is convenient for transportation/traffic as well: Quickly accessible are highway A1 and the Bremen airport.

All contact persons continue to be reached at the same phone and fax numbers as well as e-mail addresses as before.

Bicortical Implants now available in ball post version

Bicortical Implants with ball post

With the new Bicortical Implants with ball post it is now possible to fix full dentures

This indication offers a quick and economic solution with a minimum-invasive technique for an extended patient spectrum. The insertion as well as the preparation of the prosthetic construction are easy. There is a possibility to include the new anchorage modality into the existing denture with the relining at the same time.

In the mandible, 2 implants may be sufficient in the interforaminal region for anchorage, in the maxilla the insertion of at least4 implants is indicated.

Different retention elements (same as with our Pitt-Easy ball head posts) are available:

  • Metal ringhousing with O - ring
  • Retentive anchor Dalbo®-PLUS elliptic. This system with a lamella retention insert offers different alternatives for the adjustment of retention forces with the activator key. The fixation of the full denture can be performed with low effort – in compliance with the patient’s demand – and according to the individual situation.

The Locator for all Endopore implant types

The Locator for Endopore

The Locator system is an asset for Endopore implants with internal connection as well as external hex. The locator enables a compensation of divergencies between implants of up to 40°.

Effective immediately, this solution is also available for cover dentures of Endopore implants with internal hex. The low post profile of the Locator is especially favorable for small interocclusal spaces. The different gingiva heights can be compensated by a large selection of post heights (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 mm). An absolute advantage for the patient. The design which adjusts itself facilitates the insertion of the cover denture safely. User-friendly is especially the long lifetime of the individual components, which offer long, secure and functional reliability due to their superior wear resistance.

Endopore Implant with internal hex: Product catalog reveals interesting innovations

The Endopore Osteotome Kit

Endopore, the specialist for shallow jaws, has a unique truncated cone implant design. Short Endopore implants of 5 mm length can be anchored safely in bone and permit an insertion in alveolar bone starting from 7 mm height.

The microscopic pores and channels of the sintered titanium surface promote osseointegration by a three-dimensional bone ingrowth. By the use of Endopore implants, a sinus lift or other augmentation procedures can often be avoided.

The current product catalog presents a number of new additions and system innovations. In addition to the internal connection and the external hex, the Endopore implants are now available also with an internal hex for the diameters 4.1 and 5.0 in lengths of 7, 9 and 12 mm.

For the temporary restoration, the dentist has a choice of straight gingiva formers or additional components, according to the gingival situation, to achieve a natural appearance.

Special attention deserves the osteotome procedure. With its press-fit design and the highly osteoconductive surface and integration and 3-dimensional mechanical interlock, the Endopore implant is appropriate for placement using osteotome techniques. This applies especially for the posterior maxilla where cancellous bone often predominates.

Even an internal sinus lift can be performed with the osteotome technique. If there is less than 7 mm (and a  minimum of 3 mm) of subantral bone below the sinus, an Endopore implant of 7 mm length can be inserted. For creating a suitable implant site, the sinus floor is lifted by using the osteotome tips successively. In this case the application of bone regeneration material into the apical site is possible.
