SybronPRO XRT (front) and SybronPRO TL

Implants with a standard – the new SybronPRO Series

On the occasion of changing the corporate name from Innova-Oraltronics to Sybron Implant Solutions GmbH, the company announced a series of product innovations. The company now adopted a new additional implant system – the SybronPRO Series – for which the European license was certified recently.

Two implant types are at choice: The implant for insertion to tissue level (TL series) as well as to alveolar crest level (XRT series). SybronPRO TL implants offer a high efficiency, they are manufactured to precision and have a bevelled platform at the neck area for optimal stress distribution between abutment and implant.

The SybronPRO XRT implants combine multiple assets of modern implant systems, such as platform switching, micro grooves for improved initial stability and a  coronal taper at the neck. The taper provides a shield around fresh extraction sockets and provides an improved primary stability. With these convincing features the SybronPRO XRT is an ideal choice for nearly all implant indications on bone level.

Furthermore, both SybronPRO implant types XRT and TL contain an internal hex for anti-rotation safety of the abutments and a precise friction fit to minimize the micro gap at the abutment to implant connection. In order to ensure an easy insertion, the threads of both implant types have a self-tapping design. The RBM (Resorbable Blast Media) surface calls for an improved osseointegration. Since the abutments are interchangeable between XRT and TL, the stocks of prosthetic components can be kept low. The easily accessible surgical tray can be used for both the XRT and the TL implants. The individual steps of proceeding are marked accordingly and can be easily comprehended.

Sybron Implant Solutions was formed in March 2008, bringing together Innova Corporation and Oraltronics GmbH, Bremen. The parent company of the Sybron Dental Specialties group, Danaher Corporation, a Washington D.C. based organization has affiliations across the globe. Danaher is a diversified technology leader that designs, manufactures and markets innovative products with strong brand names and significant market positions.

The new corporate name reflects our association with the Sybron parent company. Sybron affiliates such as Kerr, SybronEndo, Demetron and Ormco as well as the Danaher dental companies KaVo, iCAT, Dexis and Gendex, among others, have set the gold standard in their respective technologies. “As a division of the Danaher Dental Group we will, in mutual cooperation with our sister companies, continue the rich history of providing high quality products”, said Dr. Gregg Cox, Managing Director of Sybron Implants. “We will make use of the tremendous resources which this company organization offers, in order to continue our commitment to deliver high quality products and services to the dentists and their patients in the field of oral implantology”.
