The anti-rotation posts of the new V.D.L. Anatomic Line show several innovative
developments of the previous V.D.L. (Vario Direction Line) design.
The most important feature is the circular, groovelike shoulder which is lower in the vestibular area for esthetics and slightly ascends with an elegant swing towards oral. This enables the technician to prepare an exact, clearly defined crown margin.
The subgingival design of the new post allows individual adjustment to the gingiva contour as well as an adjustment to the anatomical direction of the tooth. This is especially required for slim incisors in order to meet the high demands of red gingiva esthetics.
The internal design of the post was advanced so that the outer shape of the post remains slim, which is of considerable advantage for the design of slim incisors. We recommend to use special titanium drills for the individual trimming of the V.D.L. Anatomic Post.
The central screw is secured by an additional internal thread system to avoid loss of the screw or mistaking it for another. For cleaning purposes, the central screw can be screwed from the post, if necessary.
Please note: At the time of the implant insertion the post position of Version A or B should be taken into consideration (flat side/version A or corner/version B showing towards labial). The final trial is made with the original post or with a trial post.
