What benefits will dental implants offer?
“There is nothing better than your own natural teeth!” If you, however, for one reason or another stand at the brink of making a decision for choosing a tooth replacement, you principally have two choices: the first would be dentures. This artificial prosthesis rests on the toothless jaw bone, but does not find a true stability. The patient feels he is wearing a foreign body in his mouth. The second choice is a convincing alternative: dental implants replace the tooth root and serve as stable support of the crowns or bridges. This means: Dental implants offer a permanent fixed tooth replacement. Not only the appearance, but also the safe feeling of natural teeth is restored.

Another advantage of dental implants is the prevention of early bone resorption. When teeth are missing, the bone will resorb due to lack of stimulation by chewing, same as with dentures. The result: The prosthesis will not find retention. This is not the case with dental implants. |
